The Young Green Dragon is a juvenile Green Dragon that is encountered in the Forest Paths area/encounter in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. Having been cornered by a Hill Giant hunting party, it pleads with Gorion's Ward for assistance. They can also be encountered in the Wyrm Cave, if Morentherene wakes up in higher than core rules difficulties.

In Forest Paths, the Young Green Dragon has a hidden cache, and it reveals its location to the player if they choose to protect it from the giants. This cache contains a Diamond, a King's Tears, a Beljuril, 1,000 
, and the Blood Red Ioun Stone, and cannot be located if the Young Green Dragon does not survive the fight with the giants (but it can be located if the dragon is killed after revealing the cache [citation needed]).
