The Wave Blade is one of the components needed to create the Halberd +4 The Wave. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. The Wave Blade and the Wave Shaft must be taken to Cromwell in the Athkatla Docks along with 7,500GP, in order to obtain the final weapon.

It apparently draws water out of its victims and is able to slay creatures of fire almost instantly.
