Viekang is a Bhaalspawn thief whose essence affected him in a way that he could teleport out of places and be struck by lightning at the same time whenever he panicked.
This is first seen in Vyatri's Pub in Trademeet during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign, when he recognizes the protagonist as a Bhaalspawn. Worrying about it, he quickly teleports away.
He is seen later in the Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal campaign (see Info Box below), inside The Tankard Tree in Saradush, where he will explain his condition and how Melissan treated him. A highly intelligent character can counteract his speech, in which case he will teleport away again.

Viekang, has an odd condition. Keep Gorion's Ward away from his line of sight and speak with him with another party member.
