Valygar's Home is a building at the Athkatla Docks during Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

The house is owned by a potential Companion, Valygar Corthala although, Valygar will return to his cabin in the Umar Hills unless told to stay elsewhere when dropped from the party.

Hervo, Valygar's servant, can also be found here. If at any time the party should be belligerent with Hervo, he may call for the guards. If so, the party will face an Amnian Centurion, four Amnian Legionaries and two Cowled Enforcers.

The Tactics Remix mod adds an encounter on the 2nd Floor of Valygar's Athkaltla home - triggered by the party's entry.

The player's game difficulty selection determines the number of encountered adversaries. A high-level Fighter/Illusionist mage named "Valtor Darkspell" is present, and perhaps up to two imps with plenty of wizard spells, "Velpuk" and "Zrap". This will be a highly challenging fight if undertaken by the party in chapter 2. If the party isn't able to face this threat, then it can always just retreat and live to fight another day. There is some decent loot and XP to be gained here.
