Five Flagons Theatre Box Office notes

Two Ushers in the box office flank the entryway into the Five Flagons Theatre. They can only be found the first time the party enters the playhouse.

I am truly sorry, <SIR/MAAM>...no admittance without a ticket. You will need to speak to the receptionist to purchase one.

It is not actually required to purchase tickets, despite their protestations.

If the Receptionist is attacked the two Ushers will turn hostile and attack with their fists, as they are unarmed. Killing any of these three will not result in a Reputation loss, but all three combined are only worth 165 XP, and Raelis Shai and the rest of the Sigil Troupe will attack on-sight if the party proceeds from the box office into the theatre.

Neither the Receptionist nor the Ushers react to theft from the box office chest, even without stealth (at least, in the classic game Shadows of Amn LOADCNTR00004 Icon SoABaldur's Gate II:
Shadows of Amn

in which the chest is actually trapped at 100% difficulty, but does not have a corresponding script to alert the Authorities).[1] It is locked (67) and contains 101gp.

After the play, the receptionist, ushers and the audience disappear from the game.

Notes[]

  • One usher is a male 2nd level cleric without any spells. He only has 7gp and poor random treasure. [2]
  • The other usher is a female 2nd level fighter without any gold or items.[3]
