The Wyrmling Cavern' is a portion of the Underground River area in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear inhabited by Blind Albino Wyrmlings, the corrupted and degenerated spawn of a long-deceased dragon named Halatathlaer, who once guarded the kingdom of Kanaglym. When their mother perished, they were trapped here by a malevolent necromancer named Ithtaerus, who began experimenting upon them, forcing them into a sanity-shrivelling cycle of incest and cannibalism.
The wyrmlings will attack Gorion's Ward and their allies on sight, and must be killed. Doing this before speaking to Halatathlaer will unlock new dialogue, with even more dialogue being unlocked if the Journal of Ithtaerus is in the party's inventory.
The entrance to the wyrmlings' prison-lair is a secret door, disguised as a pinkish crack in the wall. It is located in the central section of the Underground River area.
