Umar Cave is a cave in the Umar Hills in Shadows of Amn.
Besides the mimic creature that lurks here, you might also encounter Umber Hulks and Skeleton Warriors. Some creatures may respawn after your first visit. The party may rest here if they want.

- Find mimic's blood for Jermien the Cowled Wizard – this is where the mimic is found.
- Idle hands in Imnesvale – the youthful adventurers will be found inside the cave once they have been given ale or swords.

After a quiet rest for the party in the corner of the cave, Gorion's Ward examines that chest, and a surprising Killer Mimic attacks with its long range Mimic Glue attack. Both Jan Jansen and Viconia DeVir are paralyzed in the sticky strands, even though they are beyond the creature's detection range.
The Ward prepares to engage the horrid creature but is hit by some Mimic Acid glop that really burns, and will no doubt leave a mark.
