Used by tutors of new Cowled Wizards, these rings grant the tutors protection from some of the less gifted students, some of whose achievements consist of: Opening portals to the lower planes. Causing all cucumbers in the area to spontaneously combust. Something to do with a lot of brooms (but that was never proven).

Acquisition

Kill the Cowled Wizard Inchantra in the Myconid room of the Planar Sphere on behalf of the false Cowled Enforcer. It can be looted from her body.

Effects

• +1 Armor Class
• +3 Save vs. Spells
• +5% Magic Resistance
• Cast Minor Globe of Invulnerability 1/day.
