Turnabout is a companion mod for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition and the Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal designed to work with and be installed on top of Ascension mod.

This mod is intended to supplement the final battle in Ascension. In that confrontation Amelyssan will tap on what's left of Bhaal's divine essence in order to resurrect The Five and unleash them upon Gorion's Ward. The Gorion's Ward can then access Bhaal's essence on their own in order to recall one of his fallen companions, Gorion or even Alianna to help against the onslaught.

Gorion's ward can recall any of the NPCs that have irreversibly died during the main story:
None of these NPC will take a companion, but will behave and take orders like an ordinary summon.
