In west Baldur's Gate the party will be approached by a kid called Varci Roaringhorn who begs the party to help him, but he won't tell what needs to be done and can't negotiate about the reward, until the protagonist accepts to follow him to a house.

Walk-through

Inside the house, a priest of Tymora —who is also the kid's father— asks the player to retrieve the body of a child who has been killed while trespassing in the Temple of Umberlee, because he may be able to resurrect the kid. He prefers that the body is retrieved by a stealth approach and will promise a magical item and gold as a reward.

The body can be obtained in four different ways:

1. Diplomatic approach #1: You can buy the Casson Belde'ar's body from the leader of the temple for 2,000 .
2. Diplomatic approach #2: If you brought back the bowl to Tenya during the The Fishermen and the Priestess quest, you can ask the priestess at the temple entrance to speak with Tenya and ask her for the body of Casson Belde'ar (conversation choices: 4, 1).
3. Stealth approach: You can obtain the body by picking the pockets of Jalantha Mistmyr (conversation choices: 1, 2 – pay 50 ).
4. Aggressive approach: You can waltz in and kill everyone in your way and then retrieve the body, after getting Jalantha Mistmyr to come out and talk, otherwise you will not get the Geas Removal Scroll or the body.

When the body is retrieved, the party should return to the house. After talking to Tremain, they will watch how the ritual is performed and the kid is resurrected successfully. They shall receive their reward from Varci.

Tremain's Son

I have promised Tremain Belde'ar that I will rescue the body of his son from the Temple of Umberlee near the docks. I can find Tremain in a house just north of the Hall of Wonders.

Success

Tremain was delighted that we recovered Casson from the Temple of Umberlee in time to revive his life, but then he let the boy have it for his mischief.

Failure

I was too late to rescue Tremain's son, unfortunately.
