This is the second half of a journal belonging to a mithral prospector named Idras Tombelthen, detailing where he hid his findings. It is useless without the first half of the journal.

Acquisition[]
This half of Tombelthen's journal can be found in the Ruined Temple in Shadows of Amn. It is concealed in a bundle of rubble in the cell where Mazzy Fentan is imprisoned.
Use[]
Although this half of Tombelthen's Journal can be located by anyone, it is actually tied to the stronghold quests for the Ranger, and is useless to any version of Gorion's Ward who does not belong to that class.
The first of the three quests that collectively make up Ranger-Protector of the Umar Hills will see Gorion's Ward confronted by Lord Igen Tombelthen, who is ravaging the forest to discover the mithral concealed by his deceased ancestor. He will give them the first half of the journal, which combined with this one allows them to locate the Mithral Medallion hidden by Idras Tombelthen.
