Thunderhammer Smithy is the store of renowned blacksmith Taerom Fuiruim that's located in the town of Beregost. Taerom and his three Smiths are present from 4:30 am to 9:30 pm every day. The store is likely the first store Gorion's Ward and party will encounter that offers enchanted items, with many +1 variants of weapons, armor, and ammunition available, as well as a few even more powerful items, such as a Dagger of Venom.
Alongside the selling of weapons, armor, and projectiles, Taerom also identifies items of those aforementioned categories. It is also possible to obtain a set of Ankheg armor from him.
Note: As with most other stores, these enchanted items are neither replenished nor restocked over time, so new players would be best advised not to repeatedly rest in hopes of purchasing more quantity than what is initially available.
Loot[]
The chest near Taerom is locked(30) and contains a Spear. The other two chests are also locked(50) with the one against the wall containing a Bastard Sword +1 and six more spears and the other one containing the following swords:
- Bastard Sword (×2)
- Long Sword (×3)
- Short Sword (×2)
- Two Handed Sword (×2)
Note: Opening any locked chest for the first time in the presence of Taerom or the Smiths will result in the appearance of three Flaming Fist Enforcers.
Side quests[]
- An Offer from Taerom - Only offered when the party possesses at least one Ankheg Shell, it allows one to obtain a suit of Ankheg Plate Mail for 4000
and further more, it is possible to continuously sell Taerom Ankheg Shells for 500 each. - The Tainted Ore - Bring a Vial of Mysterious Liquid to Taerom. Two days after delivering it to him, his stock will expand to include "Quality" weapons (normal weapons that don't break).
Notes[]
- After speaking with each of the Smiths at least once, if you successfully charm each of them afterwards , they each will give you a free suit of Chain Mail. However, once the charm wares off, they will remain enemies. But this has no affect on Taerom who will still converse with the party.
