The Warder's Signet, also known as the Ring of Protection +3. This ring offers a +3 bonus to armor class and +3 to all saving throws while equipped. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition.

Locations[]

  • In Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, this ring can be obtained from the Deck of Many Things, which is dropped by Aesgareth at the end of the Maze Level (3rd floor) of Watcher's Keep. To acquire the ring, the player must draw one of the following cards the very first time they use the deck: Donjon (save at -4 or be imprisoned) or Ruin (party loses all gold, no save). After this, the player has a chance of drawing the Key card on his 2nd draw from the Deck, which will give him The Warder's Signet +3.

Description[]

Ring of protection +3: 'The Warder's Signet'. Legend holds that this plain gold band was a gift from Ao to Helm as a reward for the god's stalwart service during the Time of Troubles. Helm in turn passed the gift on to his mortal followers.
