The Wizard's School is the name for a small set of rumors in Baldur's Gate, that direct Gorion's Ward toward Ulcaster and the Ulcaster Dungeon, and also tie into the side quest Tomes of Magic.
The journal entries received their title only in the Enhanced Edition.

We charmed a man named [Galteran/Berden]. He told us that there was an abandoned wizard school to the east, and that there was much treasure to be found there.
The journal entries silently disappear when the party completes Tomes of Magic.
