Tessilan is one of the three men, along with Glayde and Faltis, that arrive to the meeting with Silke and Garrick during The Silke Dilemma side quest.
It is possible to kill all three without reputation loss even after killing Silke, but doing that before recruiting Garrick causes him to not join the party as a companion.
Taking the Potion of Defense reward after killing Silke by talking to either one of the three causes them to disappear, otherwise they will stand in the street indefinitely.
