The Temple of Ilmater in the Slums District is one of two temples in Athkatla devoted to the Crying God, with the other being located in Waukeen's Promenade. It is located on top of the roof of the Copper Coronet, with the door near where the Black Market Thief has his nighttime station.
The temple consists of a single room and a Priest of Ilmater, a beggar and a commoner are the only occupants. The priest runs the temple store which sells potions, scrolls, and identifies items. He also administers temple services which accepts donations and has the usual restorative cures.
Containers[]
There is only one container here, the right barrel which is not locked, trapped, or alarmed, and contains only poor random treasure, as would be expected from a Temple of Ilmater, dedicated to the god of endurance, martyrdom, perseverance, and suffering.
Related quests[]
This is one of the two temples that Yoshimo's Heart can be taken to, something Yoshimo will ask Gorion's Ward to do for him if he is taken to Brynnlaw as part of the unmarked quest Freeing Yoshimo's Soul.
Notes[]
In the original Shadows of Amn, the same priest is found in both temples, so if purchases were made from the temple in one district, the stock in the temple in the other district will also be depleted, as they share the same store. And the Antidote potion had an unlimited supply even though 18 are listed as being in stock.
Several things were changed in the Enhanced Edition, with a Priestess of Ilmatar now located in the Waukeen's Promenade temple, and so both stores now operate independently. The Antidote potion is no longer unlimited in supply, and the Waukeen's temple carries a few additional items that aren't found in the Slums District temple.
