The Tears of Selûne is a group of Sun Soul Monks found in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. They are encountered in a Wilderness area when the Party transitions from the Abandoned Amphitheater map, to any other location on the World Map. This occurs the first time you leave the Abandoned Ampitheater map only.
This group of monks will move toward the party in a Cut-Scene, with stormy weather and strange light flashes. Once the cut-scene is finished, the Tears will address the party.
The outcome of the encounter depends on your dialogue choices. There are several outcomes possible. All of the choices result in some experience points for your party, some more than others. Choose wisely.
