Tamile is a thief in Ertof Dand's bandit group who have heard that Gorion's Ward has amassed many valuable items worth stealing.
If Gorion's Ward is a male human, elf, half-elf or halfling, and if the romance with Jaheira has reached a certain point (Jaheira's Local variable LoveTalk = 27), the bandits might appear any time the party is resting outdoors. Otherwise, this encounter will never happen.
The party wakes to find a blade at Jaheira's throat, and an ultimatum to hand over all their possessions or else. Gorion's Ward will then have a few different dialog options, which may affect the outcome of the romance.

Sword Coast Stratagems mod revises Tamile. A new default SCS AI script is assigned for better tactical behavior. As a thief class, he now is just proficient with 1 pip in longsword, and has 1 pip in single weapon fighting style. As a result, he'll not strike as easily as shown in the unmodified game but will have an improved armor class. Tamile will open hostiles by quaffing a Potion of Invisibility and the combat text box will display "Sorry, friend, but you've got a date down under". Once invisible she will attempt a backstabbing attack, typically going for a mage in the party first.
