Are you sure about the explanation? A 25 Constitution character would be less fatigued compared to a 4 Constitution character regardless of real time fatigue, shapeshifting or Haste simply because their base fatigue is lower.

- I'm basing it off tests made by TheWildestMage and complementary tests I made then: It appeared that 2x Haste on a freshly woken up high CON character causes them to get -2 Luck (= 8 Fatigue) and the Fatigue icon and complaint. Maybe what happens is:
AbsoluteValue( Natural fatigue ) + Fatigue modifier = Total fatigue
- or maybe it's something else, but 2x Haste appeared to have the same effect on freshly rested characters regardless of CON, if I recall correctly =) (Or at least regardless of any CON > 7)
- If you feel like expanding the tests or checking for edge cases, do report back 'cause that's definitely useful! Examples of things we don't yet know as far as I remember: Will a freshly rested 3-CON character that receives one Haste and then stays awake for 4 hours have 8 Fatigue and -2 Luck? Will a freshly rested 18-CON character that receives two Hastes and then stays awake for 4 hours have 9 Fatigue and -3 Luck, or still 8 Fatigue and -2 Luck? How does natural fatigue combine with the Fatigue modifier?
- And also, having 8 natural Fatigue (-2 Luck), saving the game and reloading is supposed to push back Fatigue to 0 without lifting the -2 Luck penalty. What happens when it regrows naturally by 1? Will the Luck penalty be reset to 0, or will it stay at -2? If the latter, what happens when Fatigue regrows to 7? Will the Luck penalty now be set back to -1? Grow to -3? Stay at -2? If the latter, what happens when Fatigue grows further to 9? -3 Luck finally? etc.
- PS just in case: One can check Luck in game by pressing CTRL+M while the mouse cursor is over the character, assuming console cheat keys are enabled. The game clock advances 1 hour with each press of CTRL+T, too, though the game only seems to update Fatigue+Luck in the next 1 or 2 minutes after CTRL+T.
