- For the storekeeps from the general stores in southwest Baldur's Gate, see Storekeeps (southwest Baldur's Gate).
“ | Please, browse and take your time. I've no wish to rush a potential new customer.[2] | ” |
A true neutral and innocent male human storekeep sells – day in, day out – his wares at the Potion Shop in the southwest of Baldur's Gate.
Background[]
Though his store is specialized in potions, the storekeep himself may not be the very specialist for this subject, judging by some oddly murky bottles in the display. Perhaps this is the reason why there's no other customer visiting his shop that he operates as an ordinary General Store. His pockets are as empty as his shop and the shelves inside it.
Involvement[]
The storekeep sells only potions, but will buy some other items as well; see below for a detailed list. He can identify magical items, though for a higher-than-usual cost. For a rogue, it's possible to steal from the store; if that fails, a Flaming Fist Enforcer with two colleagues will try to arrest the party.[3]
- Baldur's Gate (1998)
Content from the original Baldur's Gate main campaign In the original Baldur's Gate, he shares his stock with other merchants in the city,[b] meaning, what is bought here can't be bought at their stores anymore and what is sold here can be found again with them.
This does not apply to the Enhanced Edition.
