The Slave Wraith creatures are a unique one-of-a-kind opponent encountered alongside the Demon Wraith in a specific chamber on the Watcher's Keep Teleport Maze.

Gameplay[]

Called forth by the demon, - these creatures appear nearby their skeletal corpses laying on the floor. The Slave Wraith beings are controlled against their will by the demon and are hostile.

The creatures will generate text dialogue on the combat screen, such "Run, fools!" and "We cannot control ourselves!".

The creatures have a number of immunities and resistances, as shown on the InfoBox.

They can See the invisible.

Their combat behavior is guided by the tried and true but simplistic WTASIGHT.bcs script. Each slave that detects an opponent will move toward the nearest one and engage in melee attacks.

For details of the effects caused by their melee attack - see their Weapon description page.

If the Demon Wraith is destroyed, any surviving Slave Wraith creature will utter "Thank you for releasing us! Thank you!" and provide 5,000 XP. A death animation will then manifest over the creature's sprite - signifying their release from undead servitude. However, destroying a slave in combat provides 10,000 XP, and doesn't grant the spirit's release.

If the player has set their game difficulty below "Normal" - then the creatures are gimped by a Slow spell and a double Lower Resistance - making them almost no threat at all.
