Die!

Skeleton Warriors are serious combat versions of Skeletons. They come with a greater amount of hit points and inflict greater damage with the +1 two-handed sword they wield. A second version carries a Composite Longbow and a two-handed sword. Plus they drop some high-value treasure unlike normal skeletons which drop no treasure. They also have up to 90% Magic resistance and all the normal undead immunities. To prevent critical hits they wear a helmet as well.

Trivia[]

  • The offical website for the original game, now archived, had – in addition to some combat-related statistics – the following information about skeleton warriors:[1]

Formerly powerful fighters, skeleton warriors are undead lords forced into their nightmarish states by powerful wizards or evil demigods who trapped their soul in golden circlets. The sole reason that skeleton warriors remain is to search for and recover the circlets that contain their souls.

A skeletal warrior appears as a cracked an[sic] yellowing skeleton covered with shards of decaying flesh. Its eyes are black holes containing pinpoints of reddish light. It is clad in the blackened armor and rotted trappings it wore in its former life.

The size was given as six to seven feet tall.
