The Shadow Thief Guildhall is one of the largest buildings in the Docks District and serves as the base of operations for the Shadow Thieves in the city of Athkatla. In order to enter, you must be invited inside by one of the three shadow thief door guards.
Gameplay[]
In Chapter Two, the first time you pass near the guildhall entrance, a door guard will let you know that you may enter if you wish. Perhaps your agreement with Gaelan Bayle had something to do with this invitation. Additionally, if Gorion's Ward is a Thief, then Gaelan Bayle will directly refer you to Renal Bloodscalp and recommend you speak with him here at the guildhall. If Yoshimo is in your party upon entering the Docks District, he will suggest a visit here to see Renal in order to pay a debt and with promises of a reward. Otherwise, you will have to find the guildhall yourself while exploring the city.
To begin Chapter Three, if you side with the Shadow Thieves in the guild war, you will need to come here to meet with Aran Linvail in his hideout, which is accessible from the guildhall. If you side with Bodhi, you have to come through here to access the hideout and kill him.
Layout[]
First Floor[]
The warm welcome by a rather obvious fence called Black Market Thief, followed up by storage space and a set of stairs at the back wall that leads to the second floor of the guildhall. Be sure not to call Sidge a thief, for he is something totally different[1].
Second Floor[]
The second floor is the place of business of the Shadow Thieves local leader, Renal Bloodscalp. Again, lots of storage space for items unknowingly or involuntarily donated to the shadow thief cause. For those willing to take a chance, there are some containers with riches. Maximized disarm and unlock abilities are advised.
Related quests[]

Mods:[]
Installation of the Rogue Rebalancing Mod provides a number of new and or revised content to the Shadow Thief Guildhall and characters. The Black Market Thief is renamed to "Marina" and gets a major revised inventory of goods for sale, as well as a special category of Rogue centric enchanted and magical items. Having a thief in your party can allow access to these special wares without having to pay an extra fee (using Thieves Cant). It also changes the The Shadow's Blade to a Short Sword +3.
Installation of the Alternatives Mod provides you a major option to decide if you wish to side with neither the Shadow Thieves nor Bodhi, and take a different path altogether to reach Imoen and rescue her.
On the second floor you can meet Kim the Pirate, an NPC with a friendship feature and an epic extra quest. She will challenge the player character but only becomes recruitable after Renal's quest has been completed.
