A Scroll Case can be used to store scrolls, saving space in character inventory.
It can store a total amount of 20 items in the classic Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and in Siege of Dragonspear. In the Enhanced Edition games it can store up to 100.
Note that the container is not limited to holding magic scrolls. It can store almost anything written on parchment. This includes various bounty notices the protagonist's fan club of bounty hunters carry with them.
