- Not to be confused with Samuel.
Samuel Thunderburp is a halfling fighter and owner of the Five Flagons Inn in the Bridge District.
“ | Hello, my good smilin' friends! | ” |
He claims to serve a beverage of every flavor available, though there are only five types of drinks you can buy from him. Samuel's wife Thalia Thunderburp, also a halfling, works in the Inn as a serving wench.
"There's a theater downstairs, if you like...but don't forget a mug of spiced wine before you go! At the Five Flagons, tickling your palatte is our pleasure!"
Visit him with Mazzy Fentan in your party, and he will thank you for rescuing his favourite Halfling "Paladin" by rewarding you with a pair of boots, Worn Whispers.
Visit Samuel with Haer'Dalis in the party after having freed he and Raelis Shai from the Planar Prison, and he will gift you with a diamond from a fan of his acting performances.

Notes[]
- When Samuel appears in the Playhouse he is equipped differently (
BdBarT01.cre
); a Club instead of a Flail, no potions or helmet, and average random treasure instead of well-off. His Saving Throws are also worse: 16, 16, 16, 15 and 18. - He has a Pick-Pocket skill of 50, even though he is a Fighter, not a Thief. (The version in the Theatre does not have any thief skills, as it should be.)
- His default Blunt Weapons proficiency does not work for his assigned Flail, as this should have been "Spiked Weapon". SCS fixes this.
Mod content[]
- This section is about unofficial content that is only available via fan-made mods.
Sword Coast Stratagems revises Samuel by assigning an SCS default fighter AI script for smarter tactical behavior, and potion use. Weapon proficiency is changed to 4 pips with Flail and 2 pips in Single Weapon fighting style. Random SCS treasures are placed in his inventory.
