It is considered a magical and +2 enchanted item and deals 1d6 piercing damage (adjusted by Strength bonus), with a range of two feet, and speed factor of 1.
Upon a successful hit, the spear applies an additional 2d4 cold elemental damage to the target. This damage bypasses Magic resistance and Power level protections.
The wielded item provides the Salamander with a retaliatory Fireshield (Blue) damage effect upon any attacker in a fairly close range (about 5 feet). Any hit by spell, missile or melee attack in that range will inflict additional cold damage on the attacker.
