Rising Tensions with Amn is a collection of journal entries about significant rumors, heard, for example, in taverns and inns, at temples or from commoners. It is a side quest in Baldur's Gate, and as such, the notes are found in the "Quests" section of the journal.
It focuses on connections between the current iron crisis and a possible conflict with the southern nation of Amn. Rumors are available from as early as Chapter One on, and new ones may be heard until up to Chapter Seven.
