Reynald de Chatillon is a Fallen Paladin who is now an outcast from the Order of the Radiant Heart after going against the vows he made to the Order. He is only found during the side quest, Seek Out and Investigate the Fallen Paladins.

Gameplay[]
In the east corner of Athkatla's Bridge behind the Balthis Estate, you find Reynald (4860.705) and four other Fallen Paladins fighting seven smugglers led by Rindus. After the battle, he will ask you to retrieve Anarg's Cup from the Order of the Radiant Heart building in the Temple District.
After Reynald receives the cup, Anarg will appear claiming Gorion's Ward and your party are spies. You may then have to kill Reynald, based on whether you accept or refuse Anarg's offer to join the fallen paladins:
- Accept, and Anarg exposes that you work for Sir Ryan Trawl, angering Reynald, who then attacks.
- Refuse, and Anarg's treacherous reply causes Reynald to leave peacefully.
Reynald behaves as a melee fighting opponent, wielding his Two-handed sword. If his HP drops below a set threshold he'll then quaff a healing potion.

- Reynald's name is a reference to the real-life crusader and Prince of Antioch, Raynald of Châtillon.
