Drizzt[]

Drizzt Do'Urden is a famous Forgotten Realms hero.

Build: LG Drow Ranger (13 20 15 17 17 14), dual-wielding scimitars.
Joins: Very early, in Irenicus's Dungeonfloor 2.
When kicked out: Leaves forever.
Must be in party for: The mod's main quest.

QUEST: "Help Drizzt Finding His Friends"[]

Drizzt's personal quest is the main quest of the mod.
See Region of Terror main quest for details.

Wulfgar[]

Wulfgar is one of Drizzt's friends.

Build: CG Human Barbarian (19 16 18 15 14 15), wielding war hammers (single weapon style).
Joins: Very early, in Irenicus's Dungeonfloor 1.
When kicked out: Waits where you left him, or at the Copper Coronet.
Rejoins the party when asked.
Must be in party for: His personal quest (see below).

Regis[]

Regis is one of Drizzt's friends.

Build: LN Halfling Thief (10 17 15 13 15 15), dual-wielding short blades.
Joins: Early, in ArlaxMonzuma's Cave.
(Only reachable during the mod's main quest!)
When kicked out: Waits where you left him, or at the Copper Coronet.
Rejoins the party when asked.
Must be in party for: Nothing.

Bruenor[]

Bruenor is one of Drizzt's friends.

Build: CG Dwarf Wizard Slayer (17 15 19 15 12 15).
Joins: Mid-game, in WestcharRealm of the Gragha.
(Only reachable during the mod's main quest!)
Must be in party for: Nothing.

Catti-Brie[]

Catti-Brie is one of Drizzt's friends.

Artemis Entreri[]

Artemis Entreri is Drizzt's arch-nemesis.

Build: NE Human Assassin (14 20 15 18 15 18).
Joins: Late, in MariburMysterious Cave.
(Evil protagonist only.)
Must be in party for: Nothing.

Jarlaxle[]

Jarlaxle is the leader of an elite drow mercenary company, and business partner of Artemis Entreri.

Build: NE Drow Swashbuckler (13 20 15 16 15 13).
Joins: Late, in MariburMysterious Cave.
(Evil protagonist only.)
Must be in party for: Nothing.

Mordragon[]

Mordragon is a strange paladin with no relation to Drizzt.

Build: LG Human Paladin (16 17 15 12 13 17).
Joins: Early, in Trademeet ▸ ?.
Must be in party for: Nothing.

Randall[]

Randall is a lethargic mage, with no relation to Drizzt.

Build: CG Half-Elf Mage (13 16 14 18 14 12).
Joins: Early, in Arlax ▸ Hammerhand's inn.
When kicked out: Waits where you left him, or back in Arlax.
Rejoins the party when asked.
Must be in party for: His personal quest (see below).

QUEST: "Necromancer after Randall"[]

  • 5+ days after Randall has joined the party, when your protagonist has 250,000+ exp, a mage labeled "Necromancer"[1] approaches you while you are traveling outdoors[2].
    He shouts "Kill the mage in blue!" (referring to Randall), and attacks you together with his his 6 seketon minions.
    Defeat him.
  • 10+ days after the previous encounter, when your protagonist has 500,000+ exp, a second "Necromancer"[3] attacks you outdoors[2] – this time, with 10 skeletons.
    Defeat him.
  • 10+ days after the previous encounter, when your protagonist has 1,000,000+ exp, there is yet another ambush[2]: This time, you face the mage Bheodin[4] with two "Necromancers"[5] and 10 skeletons.
    • Defeat them, and pick up the note from Bheodin's body. It says that someone named "Razor" put a bounty on Randall's head.
    • Randall initiates dialog, grabs the note, and marks "Razor's Hideout" on your worldmap.
  • Travel to Razor's Hideout, and refer to that article for a walkthrough of the remainder of this quest.

Alissa[]

Alissa is a cleric of Deneir, with no relation to Drizzt.

Build: LN Human Cleric (10 15 12 15 18 18).
Joins: Mid-game, in Bremen ▸ outdoors(850.1000).
Must be in party for: Her personal quest (see below).

QUEST: "Alissa's Abilities"[]

  • After Alissa joins the party, she explains that she has been manifesting strange abilities and wants to find out where they come from.
  • Have Alissa in the party when you enter the chapter 6 location Spirit Soaring Revisited. After Cadderly greets you there[6], Alissa has a word with him in private. When she returns, she says that he told her that priests of Oghma might have a similar condition as her.
  • Once you're back in Athkatla, enter the Temple of Oghma in the Docks District. Talk to the "Priest of Oghma" inside, and let Alissa talk. The priest tells her that she is a chosen of Oghma.
    (The quest ends here.)
