The Ranger Cabin is located in the Umar Hills west of the village of Imnesvale during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign.
It belonged to the former Ranger-Protector of the Umar Hills, Merella, and may become the protagonist's Stronghold if Gorion's Ward is a Ranger.
Investigating the deaths in the Umar Hills[]
The party will find a corpse on the bed. A status message reads:
"It looks as if a violent struggle has taken place here. Someone was killed and dragged out of the cabin. There are a few footprints in the blood. They appear to be dog or wolf prints."
A note from Mazzy Fentan is found on the bedroom floor, and Merella's Journal on the Dining Table. Other containers, and potential loot, include:
