A Protection From Poison scroll offers protection to the target from all forms of poison, be they of a natural or magical nature. The effect is not permanent, however, and will wear off after 6 hours.

Game Mechanic Note[]

The "Green" protection scrolls are implementing their effects differently than a cast spell does. The Scrolls have no assigned "Spell School", and no assigned "Spell Type". As such they can't be removed by a Breach effect as they are not a combat protection nor a specific protection.

The spell power level of the scroll is zero, and that means that any dispel magic effect will remove all the protections conferred by the scroll, even if the dispel effect was even a level 1 spell power.

The Protection from Poison Scroll protects against all poison damage and all poisoning effects. It also prevents Drunkedness or being Intoxicated. Once applied to a creature the scroll cures poison effects. The scroll will not cure or remove intoxication (but Slow Poison will). This scroll will not stack with other poison protection items, and the poison damage resistance will never exceed 100%.
