Protection From Fire is a protection scroll, usable by everyone, that offers resistance of fifty percent against elemental fire damage for twelve hours.
- See Protection From Fire (priest) for a priest and Protection From Fire (wizard) for a wizard spell with similar effects.
“ | A Protection From Fire scroll offers protection to the target from all forms of fire, even that of magical b or elemental nature. The effect is not permanent, however, and will wear off after 12 hours. | ” |

Game Mechanic Note[]
The "Green" protection scrolls are implementing their effects differently than a cast spell does. The Scrolls have no assigned "Spell School", and no assigned "Spell Type". As such they can't be removed by a Breach effect as they are not a combat protection nor a specific protection.
The spell power level of the scroll is zero, and that means that any dispel magic effect will remove all the protections conferred by the scroll, even if the dispel effect was even a level 1 spell power.
These scrolls stack their effectiveness. The maximum protection gained from a Protection from Fire Scroll would be 127% (assuming three scrolls were used, and the creature had no other fire resistance sources).
