“ | Welcome to the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart, young <PRO_MANWOMAN>. I am Prelate Wessalen. Walk always on the path of justice, honor, and duty. | ” |
Gameplay[]
The party may find the Prelate in his office with the Radiant Heart headquarters.
Initiate conversation with him for dialogue - the dialogue offered will change depending on previous actions performed and quests assigned to the party.
During Baldur's Gate II Chapter 6, Gorion's Ward may attempt to gain assistance from the Prelate regarding The final battle with Bodhi.
He may or may not agree to provide a small group of knights to fight alongside the party in the catacombs of the Graveyard District - this is determined by previous actions taken by Gorion's Ward, and whether or not the party was allied with Bodhi previously.
Certain dialogue can favorably persuade Wessalen or shutter the requested help, regardless of previous decisions taken.
If he grants assistance, the journal registers the following:
- Journal entry: Allies recruited for the struggle against Bodhi
- Prelate Wessalen of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart has agreed to aid me against Bodhi. A group led by Sir William Reirrac will meet me beneath the Graveyard District when I am ready to strike at the vampire.
On the other hand, if the Prelate refuses help, the journal says:
- Journal entry: Allies recruited for the struggle against Bodhi
- I asked Prelate Wessalen of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart for assistance in the battle against Bodhi, but he has refused. His decision is final.
