A man named Palin will approach you on the Isle of Balduran north of the village, and ask you for help defeat some monsters nearby, and to follow him if you accept.
After a conversation with him he will attack alongside 4 Wolfweres.
Palin will drop a doll, belonging to Farthing, which is needed to complete the side quest Farthing's Dolly.
