Orc vs. Troll Waylay is a random encounter area in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear.
This encounter may occur only once while traveling between maps, either in Chapter Eight or in Chapter Nine.
Cave Extrerior[]
Outside the cave entrance, an Orc Priest, 2 Orc Archers, and 3 Orc Warriors battle 2 Trolls [verification needed].
Cave Interior[]
Inside, are numerous bodies of people and animals, as well as 2 Small Trolls, a Troll [verification needed], and a Freshwater Troll.
On the ground are random jewelry or gems, random gold, and A Historical Treatise of Dragonspear Castle, implying at least some of the bodies may have been Crusaders. Near a pool of water, a large round rock holds a Winter Wolf Pelt and a Skull.

Proceed only if you're prepared for the consequences.

After entering the pool, the party will be immediately attacked by 3 Freshwater Trolls and a Giant Troll.
On the ground is Firefly +2 sling, a Sunfire scroll, and a Laeral's Tear Necklace and assorted gems are in the wall crevice on the western side of the pool.
