The Ooze Puddle creature seems to have been removed or not used in the Enhanced Edition game. It may have been planned for use in the Watcher's Keep Elemental Level, most likely in the Slime laboratory.

The creature would split into two, and so on and so forth, if any of the puddles were reduced to 0 HP by damage. The exception would be from Electricity damage, which would stop the creature from splitting into two creatures.

Rather than dying, the creature splits into two.

Gameplay[]

The potentially endless splitting into two creatures is a cool idea but is also a candidate for a glitchy game engine response. In the end, this creature was dropped from being in the game.

There are however the Fission Slime creatures, which mechanically operate in a different way.
