All the guys pick on me... 'cause I'm only 6'8"

Ogrillons are the misbegotten offspring of ogres and orcs. They can often be found working with ogres in many places around the Sword Coast and Amn.

Gameplay[]

Even at lower levels, ogrillons pose little threat unless they get within melee range. They are best dealt with using magic and ranged weapons, or by using summoned monsters or animals to distract them while warrior classes hammer them up close. Backstab is also very efficient in dispatching them.

As for those ogrillions that encountered in Shadows of Amn; by this stage of the game, these creatures are unable to provide any meaningful challenge whatsoever.

Note: The second infobox list those stats that are specific for the creature encountered in the Siege of Dragonspear, otherwise all stats in the first infobox also pertain to this creature.

Side quests[]

One of two ogrillons encountered along the Coast Way road in the South Beregost Road area carries the note from Mirianne's Husband.

Trivia[]

  • The offical website for the original game, now archived, made the following note about ogrillons:[1]

What do you get when you cross an orc and an ogre? An ogrillon. Not as big as their ogre cousins, but quite fierce.
