Nine Hells, also known as Baator, is a lower plane inhabited by lawful evil outsiders known as Devils, who are waging a neverending conflict known as the Blood War against the Demons of the Abyss.
Structure[]
Nine hells is divided into nine infinite layers:
- Avernus
- Dis
- Minauros
- Phlegethos
- Stygia
- Malbolge
- Maladomini
- Cania
- Nessus
Each layer is ruled by an Archdevil, and all of them are ruled by Asmodeus.
