A Nature's Beauty spell allows the caster to appear as the ideal of beauty while the victim dies of longing for an illusion or be permanently blind.
Description[]
“ | When this spell is cast, the caster appears to undergo a remarkable transformation. The caster becomes the very ideal of beauty: For a male, this is usually a nymph; for a female, it varies. As with a nymph, anyone viewing the disguised caster must make a Saving Throw vs. Spell with +3 bonus or die of longing for the denied illusion. Even if the Saving Throw is successful, hapless viewers of the transformed Druid are all instantly smitten with permanent blindness (until dispelled). The transformation is instantaneous, but lasts only seconds, affecting those near the caster (excluding fellow party members). | ” |
Gameplay[]
- Only hostile humanoids are affected by Slay, what really shines in this spell is its AoE no-save blindness, which limits the victims to act only to their default AI scripts, though both effects yield to magic resistance.
- Party members can also be affected by the permanent blindness caused by this spell if charmed/dominated. Use with caution.
- Undead enemies are immune to the spell, not because they are immune to blindness, but because they are immune to the spell specifically (for logical reasons).
- To defend against this spell, you can use Spell Immunity: Illusion, Protection From Magic scrolls, or stack up magic resistance. The blindness effect can be cured by Cure Disease, Neutralize Poison, Heal or Dispel Magic.

Spell Revisions mod has changed this divine spell, revising its effects, saving throw and assigns the spell to a school. See below for description:
Nature’s Beauty
Level: 7

Sphere: Elemental
Range: Personal
Duration: 1 turn
Casting Time: 7
Area of Effect: 30’ radius
Saving Throw: Special
When this spell is cast, the caster appears to undergo a remarkable transformation. The caster becomes the very ideal of beauty, for a male, this is usually a nymph or a dryad, for a female, the image varies. Any humanoid viewing the illusion must save vs. spell at a -4 penalty or be charmed for 10 rounds. The transformation is instantaneous, but lasts only seconds, affecting those in the area but excluding fellow party members.
If the caster harms, or attempts to harm, a charmed creature by some overt action, or if a dispel magic spell is successfully cast upon a charmed creature, the charm is broken. If two or more charm effects simultaneously affect a creature, the most recent charm takes precedence.
