Mrs. Cragmoon is a potion vendor who conducts business from the street. She can be located beside the Derelict House in the Bridge District during certain hours.
“ | What can I get for you, deary? Something to ease your aches? A potion or two for the dangers of the road? | ” |
Gameplay[]
Initiate dialogue with the woman, and she'll open her "store" merchandise for perusal.
If the party visits and questions/confronts her after Faraji has told the party what he thinks of Mrs. Cragmoon's alleged involvement regarding the skinner murders, she'll deny the accusations and explain that the child's words are to be taken with caution.
- She'll say: "I see. This child, that finds me old and a little off my noodle, has called me a witch, and you have taken that as basis for murder accusations? I think not."
At a certain point she'll not speak about the matter anymore and makes it clear she doesn't appreciate the intrusion, and that you have secrets that need keeping as well - somehow sensing something about the Ward's own hidden past.
- She'll leave the subject with this: "Safe travels. Oh, and keep this between us, will you? You know what it is like to have something to hide. Yes, I think you do."
If the party follows up and reports this exchange to Lieutenant Aegisfield, he'll be interested, but not really believe she's involved with the murders. However, he'll say:
- Old Missus Cragmoon? Hmm, she hides it well. All right, I guess I'll let the Cowled Wizards know just to be safe. They'll make sure she's on the up and up.
This action by the party means that in two days' time, Mrs. Cragmoon will disappear for good - perhaps because of the Cowled Wizards. It also sets in motion a future retaliatory attack on the party by a group of vengeance seekers consisting of Strachan Fireblade, Dunbar the Fifth and four unnamed adventurers - apparently, she has friends. "Snitches get stiches" as they say.

Mod Content[]
This section is about unofficial content that is only available via fan-made mods.
The Tweaks Anthology mod adds a Potion Case to Mrs. Cragmoon's inventory, available to buy. In the unmodified game you could buy one from the Watcher's Keep merchant, and that would be the only one in the game until Throne of Bhaal. With this mod component installed, there is another potion case available from Roger the Fence as well.
