Mass Cure applies healing to wounds/injuries upon all party members within a 15 feet radius of the caster.
Description[]
“ | When casting this spell, the priest must picture the faces of his/her fellow party members clearly and focus on the unity of the group. Upon completion, all party members within a 15-ft. radius of the caster are healed 1d8 + 1/level Hit Points. Curing is permanent only insofar as the creature does not sustain further damage; caused wounds will heal —or can be cured— just as any normal injury. | ” |
Gameplay[]
This spell is automatically cast on self.
Upon completion of the spell, the caster and any party members and affiliated creatures within the area of effect are exposed to the spell's curative powers.
Each affected creature will show a healing animation lighting effect and color fade on their sprite, and the combat log will display each party member's name and a text, "Healed".
The spell cures the Intoxicated effect, as well as healing a variable 1d8+9 and peaking at 1d8+20 current hit point modifier value, as determined by the caster's priest level.
Trivia[]
The advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition ruleset doesn't contain a Mass Cure spell - this spell is a creation of the BG developers for the video game.
