Maces are like clubs, but they have metal head instead. Maces are held in one hand, but due to weight of 10 lbs, they are slow weapons with a speed factor of 7. Most maces can be wielded by warriors, bards and clerics, if they have a strength of 10 points. They can inflict 2-7 points of crushing damage. Maces have their own weapon proficiency, except in Baldur's Gate, where it's in blunt weapon proficiency instead. This item appears in Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. Maces are sold at most stores which sell weapons in all games.
