MINHP1.ITM is an undroppable item equipped to creatures that the game developers do not want to die immediately (or at all).
It is sometimes used to ensure that a creature will not be killed unexpectedly, without having an opportunity to speak their last words or transform into something else. It can also be utilized to make a creature invulnerable to death, regardless of what the player may try - such as the creature Arkanis Gath in certain situations.

This icon indicates content from the Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition campaign. and as an amulet in all the other games. - In Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition it is not possible to kill a creature equipped with this item.
- In the classic edition of the game, there is at least one (difficult) way to bypass this item to kill the creature.
