MAGE05.ITM is an undroppable Ring equipped to various NPCs in the Baldur's Gate series, for example, Davaeorn wears one of these.
Gameplay[]
The item is usually added to one of the creature's ring slots.
The item provides immunity and protection from a number of Status Effects and specific spells - permanently.
The protections conferred cannot be removed, dispelled or otherwise taken down.
This item is similar to the Edventar's Gift ring that can be obtained by the player, however, it has some differences, including no adjustments or blocking of movement rate modifiers or the Haste effect, nor a traditional Free Action (status effect).
