The Lock of Hair from Kirinhale can be either looted from Kirinhale's corpse or given freely to Gorion's Ward. If looted, it may traded to the thief Riggilo for a Potion of Cloud Giant Strength. If received, you may similarly gift it to the same thief in order to set Kirinhale free. There are no other known uses for this item, as it pointedly is not a Lock of Nymph's Hair. It may be identified, but there is little reason to do so, other than to ascertain the description.
It can be sold to Sorcerous Sundries for 250gp, but it cannot be woven into a Nymph Cloak. It can also be sold at Feldepost's Inn or to Thalantyr the Conjurer at High Hedge for the same 250gp.
