Lions are aggressive carnivores found in woodland areas. They typically travel alone. They may ignore or give a wide berth to humanoids who are on the periphery of their detection range, but only if they are after some "animal food" prey already, such as a rabbit or squirrel.
The animal uses the "Greatcat Leopard" animation.
Gameplay[]
The lion's main focus is hunting prey, and also how they are scripted to behave, but might switch targeting to a detected party member and move to the target as a hostile creature, especially if the Player Character is within 15 feet of the cat.
If the lion is attacked it will turn hostile.
The lion attacks in melee combat with its natural weapons (claws/bite), up to three attacks per round.
Their attacks are classified as +1 enchanted weapons in terms of what they can strike.
This kind of lion can be called from the priest spell Animal Summoning III, although it is a random chance.
The summoned lion has a different default script if the summoner doesn't give orders/control the beast.
