Baldur's Gate Wiki

Keherrem is a male Dwarf found in the prison cells near the entrance of the Ruined Temple of Bhaal, held alongside two other captives. The three are a patrol of the Blinding White battalion, of Caelar Argent's Shining Crusade, captured by the Cyricists who have taken over this temple.

When approached, Keherrem initiates dialogue, pleading for rescue.

Interaction[]

Private Keherrem of the crusade here. We're on a real important mission, and these kooky cultists caught us. Help!

Keherrem, though a Crusader, can only be freed or killed — it's impossible to hand him over to the Flaming Fist or to try persuading him to rethink his allegiance.

  • Freeing him (using Ziatar's Jail Key) counts as aiding the enemy, but awards a Heroic Point for the sham trial at the end of Siege of Dragonspear.
  • Killing him via the nearby floor trap (lever on the wall) grants a Villainous Point. Paladins or Rangers who even suggest this option immediately fall.
  • Killing him directly grants no Heroic or Villainous points.

Keherrem carries Keherrem's Badge, which drops if he is killed. Either his badge or his testimony after being freed will allow entry to the Crusader camp at Boareskyr Bridge and complete The Missing Patrol.

If he is freed, Keherrem is later present in the camp.
