Gameplay[]
In Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, if you save him from Yaga-Shura's soldiers, he will talk to you and thank you for his life.
For not demanding a reward, the party receives 1,000 gp and +1 to your Reputation. If you do demand a reward the party will receive 4,240 gold and your reputation will not change. Either way you will also be able to buy his wares.
He sells many magical items that are not available from most other merchants. Additionally, he pays the highest prices for items sold to him.
