Joril's Dagger +3 is an enchanted two-handed sword that inflicts 1d10 +3 points of slashing damage and 1 point of cold damage, has -3 THAC0 bonus, a speed factor of 7 and weighs 10 lbs. It also has a 25% chance of confusing the enemy on hit, though it still allows said enemy to roll a save vs. spell to avoid this particular effect. The Confusion effect lasts 3 rounds, is unaffected by magic resistance, and cannot be dispelled. You'll know if the Confusion effect worked if the hit target has a 'confusion' animation playing over it. There is no text message display, however, such as "confused".
This item is sold by Joluv in the Copper Coronet in Athkatla Slums. It appears in Baldur's Gate II and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition.
