Gameplay[]
This weapon inflicts 1d6+3 Crushing damage against most opponents in the game, as well as a 2-point THAC0 bonus to hit, with a Speed Factor of 5 and a weapon reach range of 1.
The weapon behaves as a +2 Enchanted item regarding what it can strike, however against creatures classified as "Demonic" (IDS No. 121) the mace behaves more potently.
When used against this race, the weapon behaves as a +5 enchanted item, and inflicts 1d6+6 crushing damage, with a 5-point THAC0 to hit bonus.
Note that the game lumps Demons/Devils into one classification, so a Pit Fiend and a Balor have the same race, although that wouldn't be true in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition ruleset.
